Main Responsibilities:

Develop impactful backend and data pipeline features to automate our asset management processes

Be an impactful contributor to the team to plan, design and develop sophisticated solutions

Ship fast and a lot – as one of the first and most important hires in this project you will push code to production constantly with a big impact from the get-go

Support the development of new features and work closely with the frontend team to speed up development

Establish best practices for a secure, scalable and reliable master data system

Your Profile:

SaaS/Marketplace/ECommerce startup or maritime/ logistics company is a big plus

Preferably +2 years of experience in writing clean, maintainable code using e.g.: Phyton

Preferably studying computer science, data science or a program with shipping exposure

Highly self-organized, interested in taking over ownership and being proactive

Strong knowledge of relational database technologies, ability to read and understand SQL

Understanding for good design practices with interest in developing tools and libraries

Willingness to analyze existing structure and to document these

Experience in business process analysis with financial and preferably shipping background

Experienced user within Microsoft Office product suite, especially Excel
