Chartering Manager (m/f/d) Drybulk - Netherlands

As part of our ongoing development, we are searching for a Chartering Manager Drybulk (m/f/d) for our Netherlands office.

Your tasks:

Liaise with owners, charterers, shippers, brokers, agents, and other stakeholders as required in order to charter a bulkcarrier! You will lead through the process of successfully concluding: Voyage charters, Trip time charters, Period charter parties, Industrial contracts (including contracts of affreightment)
Work closely and maintain strong relationship among relevant owners and charterers in order to grow the business and make the match between the cargo and the ship.
Key responsibilities include the ability to negotiate voyage or timecharter parties incl NYPE and GENCON CPs
To visit owners, charterers, operators, brokers, agents and other key commercial entities to maintain good working relationships

Your profile:

University graduate in Logistics or shipping or relevant education in shipping
Minimum 5 years’ experience in dry bulk chartering
Previous experience with maritime business software systems, such as AXSmarine
Willing to travel regionally and internationally
Existing client portfolio in the dry cargo sector; existing fixing track record
Initiative to work independently and in cooperation with the German headoffice, seek for new customers
Candidates are eligible to work in the Netherlands
