Your responsibilities: 

• Supports the Sustainability Manager in overseeing and implementing all Environmental & HS activities at a project level, as defined within this Environmetal & Social Management System.  
• Contribute to the development of MPCES policies and guidelines related to E&S topics, in compliance with local regulations, international guidelines and industry standards. 
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for environmental and H&S programs across all project cycles, ensuring a proactive approach to environmental protection and sustainable practices. 
• Lead the development and implementation of the Environmental & Social Management Plan project level 
• Support the process of obtaining E&S permits and licenses  
• Lead Environmental & Social Impact Assessment development or any other Environmental base studies at development phase 
• Conduct Internal HSE Audits 
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, engineering partners and subcontractors to integrate environmental and H&S requirements into design, project planning and project execution. 
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of environmental developments and best practices. 
• Monitors & Reports Environmental activities & data. 
• Reports any issues that create a significant risk at project level 

Your profile: 

• A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. 
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar position, within the renewable energy industry in the Region 
• In-depth knowledge of global environmental regulations, codes, and standards applicable to renewable energy projects. 
• Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing sustainability strategies 
• Proficiency in developing and delivering environmental and sustainability training programs 
• Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and international guidelines, including experience in ESG reporting  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to build relationships and trust with a wide variety of stakeholders, and an ability to work within a team; 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Spanish and fluent English are essential.
