Technical Superintendent (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Technical Superintendent (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg. As Technical Superintendent, you are responsible for the technical ship management of our fleet.
Your tasks
- Planning and monitoring of maintenance, repairs and dry docking of our vessels
- Monitoring of class survey intervals as well as coordination of service providers
- Monitoring of the performance and daily operation of the vessels
- Control and optimization of the Planned Maintenance System
- Carrying out physical inspections on board at regular intervals
- Budget planning and monitoring
- Pre-joining briefing of senior officers
- Enforcing the company’s management systems on board
- Reporting to various parties and close cooperation with HSEQ and purchasing departments
You fit best with us if…
- Ideally, you have sailing experience as engineer (management level), alternatively you have completed your studies preferably as an engineer in marine engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have experience as a Technical Superintendent in a ship management company.
- You have a proficient knowledge of written and spoken English.
- You are known for your exceptional organizational skills, strong team mentality, high degree of reliability, and loyalty.
- You are proficient in handling programs within the MS Office tools.
- You are fine with being available for emergency response, even outside normal working hours.
- You have an EU working entitlement.
- You apply, even with limited experience as you can also be considered as Junior Technical Superintendent.
