Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

To support our finance organization, we are looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team as Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in Amsterdam.

Your tasks:

  • Take care of all accounting tasks (bookkeeping, invoice processing, tax filings, monthly, quarterly and annual closings, etc.) for several entities and maintain the accounts in a proper and always up-to-date fashion
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports in accordance with IFRS
  • Support group consolidation tasks in accordance with IFRS
  • Support the annual auditing process
  • Communicate closely with related function inside the firm (controlling, treasury, tax)
  • Field ad-hoc requests from the senior management

Your profile:

  • Advanced degree in finance / accounting, e.g. CPA or a similar degree
  • At least 3 years working experience in a similar role 
  • Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Working experience with Navision is required
  • Fluency in English required (verbal and written), advanced knowledge in Spanish is a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Able and willing to work against hard deadlines
