Director Asset Management (m/f/d) - Renewable Energies
based in Hamburg, Germany
As Director Asset Management (m/f/d) - Renewable Energies you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our operational renewable energy assets, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and cost-effectively. You would lead our commercial and technical asset management team which is located in Hamburg, Panama and Bogotá. This position is based in Hamburg, Germany.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient and cost-effective operation of renewable energy assets, including solar, wind and energy efficiency
- Manage a team of commercial and technical asset managers to ensure optimal asset performance and compliance with reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and guidelines, including health and safety, environmental and quality requirements
- Develop and manage budgets for the operation and maintenance of assets
- Monitor and analyze asset performance to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage external debt facilities, including ongoing reporting and loan compliance
- Develop risk management strategies for asset ownership and operation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide leadership for new technologies and approaches
- Work closely together with the accounting and controlling team as well as our ESG managers
You are a perfect fit if…
- you have a minimum of 10 years work experience in the renewable energy industry, with at least 5 years in asset management or a related field
- you have profound techno-commercial understanding of key technologies and the energy market
- you have excellent knowledge of key commercial agreements (PPA, EPC, O&M, etc.) and related best industry practices
- you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- you have excellent leadership and management skills as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- you have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate risks and opportunities and develop strategies to address them
- you have a high proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point is required

you are fluent in English (both written and spoken); German language fluency would be helpful but is not required
