Commercial Asset Manager (m/f/d) - Renewable Energy

based in Hamburg, Germany

Join the professional and multinational team of the renewable energy business unit at MPC Capital AG, an internationally growing asset and investment manager based in Hamburg, Germany. Our focus is on tangible asset investments (real assets used as investment property) in the core segments Real Estate, Renewables and Shipping.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a minimum three years relevant experience to be an integral member of the asset management team as a Commercial Asset Manager (m/f/d) - Renewable Energy.

Your responsibilities:

Manage commercial agreements (EPC Contracts, Finance Agreements, O&M, PPA's,)
Ensure compliance of the SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) and Joint Ventures with the applicable legal requirements
Prepare annual operating budgets, cash flow projections and liquidity (incl. drawdowns, dividends etc.)
Coordinate asset management service providers and manage day to day interactions
Implementing operating strategy across a portfolio and on-boarding of newly acquired assets
Organizing and implementing a business plan that meets the objectives of the project structure and contracts
Monitoring and analyzing the key performance indicators of the project
Manage external debt facilities, including ongoing reporting, reserve management, covenant management, condition subsequent resolution and loan compliance
Regular reporting and meetings with SPV Directors making sure that they are informed on all major technical and commercial topics
Work closely with investment teams to identify contractual and/or commercial risks with new deals

You are a perfect fit if…

you have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in commercial asset management of renewable energy projects such as wind farms and/or solar plants
you have a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, finance, accounting. Master’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
you are competent in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
you are fluent in English and German (written and spoken). Good knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required
you are familiar with financial analysis including ROI, IRR and Discounted Cash Flow modelling
you are experienced working in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
you have an entrepreneurial mind-set with a can-do attitude and you are confident in an international working environment
you have a high proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point is required
